About Dr. Melanie Tuplin
Dr. Melanie Tuplin, founder of Intrinsic Veterinary Services, brings her passion for animal care to every patient she treats. Born and raised on a mixed farm in Northern Alberta, she developed a deep connection with farm animals at a young age, inspiring her journey into veterinary medicine.
After earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM), Dr. Tuplin further honed her expertise through an internship at Virginia Equine Imaging, a renowned equine sports medicine clinic.
Her veterinary interests span the general care of horses, dogs, and cats, with a focus on preventative medicine to keep animals healthy and thriving. Dr. Tuplin also has a strong passion for equine soundness, helping equine athletes maintain optimal performance and comfort.
